Jaguars WR Chark to miss Dolphins matchup

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– The Jacksonville Jaguars have ruled wide receiver DJ Chark out for Thursday night’s video game versus the Miami Dolphins.

Chark was doubtful with a chest/back injury, which he suffered in the Jaguars’ loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. He was hurt when he struck the ground hard on a jumping 45-yard catch.

The Jaguars had formerly ruled center Brandon Linder (knee) out and put kicker Josh Lambo (left hip) on injured reserve.

Chark being out likely implies that fourth-year pass receiver Dede Westbrook will be active Thursday for the very first time this season. He was a healthy scratch the first 2 games.Chark has 7 catches for a team-high 109 getting yards and a touchdown this season.
