Oakland indications IF Jake Lamb after his release from Arizona

SEATTLE (AP)– The Oakland Athletics signed former All-Star infielder Jake Lamb on Monday after he was designated for task recently by the Arizona Diamondbacks.The move with Lamb made good sense after Oakland lost Gold Glove 3rd baseman Matt Chapman last week. Chapman suffered a strained right hip and is anticipated to go through surgery.The 29-year-old Lamb appeared like a future star at third base simply a couple of years earlier.
